Current work in progress at funky mugs Studios!

Twenty Five mugs glazed today!! I was lucky to find a large kiln for rent. I am very pleased with how all the pieces that turned out. There’s a weird story connected to this mug: last month, the actor who played Elvis Gratton in the 1970s movie, passed away. So this mug became an homage mug.

In the final stages of the underglaze journey for 25 mugs. The process took much longer than I thought it would.

I am renting some adjunct studio space in a large studio complex that has some big kilns. It's hard not having a kiln in your studio. It's like being a baker without having your own oven. I'm hopeful this will help me be more productive.

I got started in the ceramic mug making world in 2024. Here are the pieces that | designed in 3D software, printed, molded and cast last year. I also started doing 3D digital designs for clients as well, to be printed and cast by other producers. In 2025 l want to do small runs of custom mugs.
