We really enjoy going to Jets games but gotta say the geniuses at city hall have really buggered up the bus system. We wait twice as long both ways, as the number of Henderson buses have been halved. The Kildonans have always had great bus service, and perhaps we were spoiled, but no more.

Far-right Conservatives and perhaps really ignorant people are still travelling to the States but these are impressive numbers.

Getting set to attend our first game of the year tomorrow and had to pull this out of the drawer. JT was No. 1 son’s hockey hero back when. Stoked to have this competitor of competitors with the Jets, although probably not in tomorrow’s lineup.

This is amazing. Huge win for Canada if approved. Anglo American is one of the biggest, oldest mining cos. in the world. It owned the Flin Flon copper zinc mine for ages before production slipped and it sold, as mega mining cos do. What can u say? Carney pulls off another one.

Nothing directly for Manitoba in the first wave of national projects but that Foran copper mine in Saskatchewan is next door to Flin Flon (whose mine has finally closed) and will employ a lot of Manitobans. The Foran copper mine is in the Flin Flon Greenbelt and it will be a powerhouse,

Today’s CPC missive to members: “Mark Carney has FAILED at protecting Canada. With only talk and no action, he is letting you and our country down.”
PP is hard. For a guy who never worked in the real world, and never did anything in politics except play politics, he’s got all the answers.

Lunch in the Rosenort Farmhouse and a visit to Gallery in the Park makes for a great outing, and is worth the trip!

If you’re in Alberta, the beer you have to try is Force Majeure, by Annex Ale. Whoa!

Just another day on the campaign trail with the Little Peepster.

My opinion piece in the Clipper Weekly this week. Poilievre tipped his hand two years ago on creating a media narrative and now screens all questions.

The National Little PP’s Always Right Post is reporting it has found typos in a story about a dog Mark Carney wrote in Grade 3, suggesting the election frontrunner might not have won a spelling bee in that grade had one been held.

Dan Lett, one of the top political columnists in the country and we’ve got him at the Winnipeg Free Press, gives a perfect summary of Poilievre:

The booing of the US anthem at tonight’s Jets game was a lot louder in person than what people heard on TV.

Here's a new one. I was stocking up at a Wpg liquor mart in East Kildonan, on Henderson Hwy, and was going to use a cart to load my car. It was evening and the clerk offered to help, and I said naw, that's ok. Then he insisted. Why? People have been getting knocked over for their liquor by...

Polish nativity scene, at the Ogniwo Polish Museum on North Main, Wpg. They started with plain wooden nativities and in the 19thC got more and more creative until they finally just went nuts and turned it into a competition. Ya gotta love it!
