I was briefly a fellow volunteer at a food co-op with a woman who was trying to organize a NJ Barstucks in the 1980s. Heard a lot. Learned a lot. Haven’t bought from them since.

ILLIONIS: ICE got caught keeping people in rooms so crowded & filthy that a judge had to walk in herself and see it and was so disgusted she placed court orders to change it. People sleeping on concrete next to overflowing toilets. No phones. No lawyers. No food. No water. This is happening now.
