I write! Quite a bit, actually! Contributing Editor at Inc.com, plus find my daily newsletter at Understandably.com.
If I could find the time I want to write a law review article on why it's a complete misconception that a president cannot reverse the pardons and commutations of a previous president. Very dangerous power, though.

Wait does this mean Schumer had a point?

AI generated DHS dude ... put your freaking shirt on, man.

I had forgotten that. So much has happened …

Since Hegseth likes to go do PT with the troops, maybe he should try airborne school, as he is the only infantry branched officer I think I've ever seen who never graduated (to say nothing of Ranger School).

They've cut the part quote blaming Biden. No correction of course.

But they kept the second part saying Trump's "First Amendment rights were abridged ..."

How??? The 1st Amendment stops the gov't from interfering with free speech.

Govt didn't do anything to Trump. Twitter and FB suspended him.

Alternative experience: Break your arm during the End of 4th Grade Field Day in June.

Bang it so badly that your doctor only gives you an OK to go in the pool in the 2nd week of August.

Hottest summer ever.

On the plus side I have been telling that story for decades.

"There is no unity with the people who fund these articles ... who argue that Charlie Kirk ... deserved a shot to the neck because he spoke words with which they disagreed."

Does he ever cite a specific article?

Yes there are bots and anonymous X posts, but what actual mainstream articles?

People just act like Oklahoma City never happened.

That’s an insanely incorrect take — see Mayorkas last year — see also William Belknap (1870s secretary of war); at least 12 or more federal judges … Alcee Hastings in 1989.

Suggestion if you don’t mind — change your signup to just email. Especially right now while you need signups. Good luck! We’re all in this together.

I used to live right near there. It’s amazing that anyone would pretend this was necessary.

I am *dying* to see the actual MPD police report in this case.

It was 3 am on a Sunday.

As someone who was out at 3 am on Sundays in DC a lot way back in my younger years … more than I should have been …

I’d love to know the full 100% context. I doubt we have it.

Pet peeve: News orgs that write a story based on public documents but refuse to share the document.

"Edward Coristine ... was assaulted by approximately 10 juveniles near Dupont Circle about 3 a.m. Sunday, according to a police report obtained by POLITICO."

Yeah? I'd love to see the report!
Trump administration staffer known as ‘Big Balls’ assaulted in DC
Edward Coristine, who played a key role in early days of DOGE, was attacked while trying to stop apparent carjacking, according to a police report.

OK now it says she's at Bryan FPC.

Everyone is saying she is in a prison in Texas. But the BOP website says "NOT IN BOP CUSTODY." Is she in a hotel somewhere talking with FBI agents?

How did this answer test better than “the president’s dog ate the Epstein files?”

@brandonfriedman.bsky.social How about US veterans reaching out to vet groups in Canada, UK, Australia, etc asking them to lobby their govts to offer refuge?

Not a huge number of people, 2-3k per country.

It's insane that the USA won't step up. But given where we are, it could be an option.

I can't find this poll anywhere.

Did their producer confuse the poll showing she's leading for the *Democratic nomination* vs. a poll saying she'd win in the general election?

If so that is hilarious.
