It was a busy few days for blowing dust across the south-central and southwest US. GOES Dust RGB imagery from March 3-5 captured widespread dust plumes (bright yellow/green) being lofted hundreds of miles from their source regions.

Low pressure system that brought strong winds and heavy rain to the Pac NW, captured in GOES-West Day Cloud Phase Distinction RGB Imagery. Showers and storms (bright green/yellow) are easily differentiated from low clouds (cyan). in this RGB.
