There doesn’t appear to be a simple breakdown of what they stand for that the all various factions can collectively support, leaving room for the how the sausage gets made to the factions within.

As an indy, it would be a lot easier to support them if there was a rudimentary and basic: here are 7-10 things we stand for and keep it to principles only. Example, every working person deserves to live above the poverty line.
It’s simple and easy to message….and it’s irrefutable largely

He’s opting not to charge at home bc he would be using a regular outlet and costs him money whereas free at work

His panel needed to be upgraded to support the dedicated 240v charging outlet I believe, resulting in the excessive cost. My apologies for not giving that important detail on the orig post. $1kish or thereabouts is in line.

I agree, quality of products, options of models, etc are great but a 45 minute pit stop to charge w/ family of four + dog isn’t realistic. I love WaWa and all but that’s a bridge too far :-). East Coast in Virginia if that helps for context

My friend recently purchased and the hassles he endures are too much comparatively. He goes into an office so has charging available in the parking garage, it’s very slow and even a full work day doesn’t get him to 85% or greater. So the $6k or so for @ home install seems excessive for the upside

It’s a great observation. I’m probably a year or two out from buying a car and the thing that is holding me back from electric is the length of time charging on road trips, generally no longer than 5 hours and getting charging capabilities at home
