You’re a beautiful lady, Becky. Hope all is going well with you. It’s going well with me. Happy belated Halloween.

My SeeStar S50 telescope took this image of the Pleiades last night. I then imported it into Adobe®️ Lightroom®️ and edited it just a bit. It didn’t require much work at all. My telescope stacked these images for four hours while I slept. I made some fine tweaks this morning, and that was enough.

From last night. The first photo is an edited version of my AI-enhanced photo of the Veil nebula in the Cygnus constellation. AI took care of the larger adjustments before I began to tweak it. The second image is the original before I got to it. The third is the stacked image without enhancement.

A collage from my TikTok account with a picture of my unadorned face and three others of me as Count Robbin Graves, the last of of which is me striking a pose like Christopher Lee’s Dracula, bearing his fangs in predatory glee.

Do you really know who I am? [maniacal laughter]

All right, I’m putting myself out there with this clip of me singing a cappella. It’s part of a larger song. I’ve composed recently and I might post the whole thing a cappella sometime soon or with my instrumental accompaniment. Anyway, I hope you like it. It’s not polished at all. It’s just me.

Oh, fuck! The rapture took place on September 23, and I got left behind. Hey Jesus! I want a do-over, man. I was supposed to eating ribs and pork-n-beans with you in my golden mansion, not suffering in the Great Tribulation down here with all these democrats!!!!!

My latest work on Andromeda. This image is a stacked photo of approximately 2 hours and 8 minutes at 10-second intervals. Afterwards, I took the image into Adobe Lightroom and did what I could in a few minutes. When I start running my images through Siril and Pixinsight, they should improve.

A shot from snapshot from last night’s astrophotography session. Andromeda and two other galaxies: M31, M32, and M110.

Telescope/camera: SeeStar S50
Editing app: Adobe®️ Lightroom®️

As for other details of the shot, I didn’t even think of them. I let my tele do all that work. 🤣

My cover of Hoagy Carmichael’s classic, made famous by Teagarden & Armstrong. Recorded walking the river boardwalk at night — frogs went silent, dolphins followed, maybe even a coyote watched. Not perfect, just music in the world.

The osprey’s eyes are sharp. They see you before you see them. Good thing for us that we’re not on its menu.

Early this morning, while I was out for an astrophotography session, the clouds rolled in, and I began to curse at them.

Then, with sudden clarity, I realized the clouds were also part of the universe. They were no less unique than the clouds of gas I was trying to capture in my deep space images.

Latest on the harmonization of Bach chorales. This one will form the foundation of my work this summer that combines Bach, Debussy, Gershwin, and Ellington in a medley of their genres that I’ll cap off with my own new genre, K’shěth.

This week’s project:

[Verse 1]

It came to pass that Justice died
once greed assumed control
and it destroyed the rule of law
to have its way with us.

[Chorus]

And when it fell, our freedom fled
to hide from the hands
that grasped and plundered everything
that glittered in their eyes.
