One of my favorite songwriters and performers. I saw him many times, including at a Tornado Jam in Lubbock with Linda Ronstadt, at the original Stubbs BBQ in Austin, in a bar outside Boston, and along the Poudre River in Northern Colorado. It was never enough. RIP Joe.

Yeah, it is amazing when you think about it in that context.

I just think the difference in votes was too big this time for grass roots to turn it around. Right-wing media misinforming and dividing the country played a huge role. And Biden deciding to run again and not allow a proper primary turned off a lot of swing voters.

I mean, I like your optimism. But that’s not really how it played out. Did you follow the results? Grabbing a couple of neighbors wasn’t really going to swing this election. There were fundamental issues that were well beyond what you’re thinking of. I didn’t like the results either, btw.
