i write about music lawsuits all day every day and the idea that Drake would actually hire lawyers and sue over a diss track was genuinely unimaginable to me. "nah, won't happen." lol.

There's been a ton of weird reporting on this today, claiming a new lawsuit was filed. In reality, AEG filed the case way back in 2020, but it was delayed for years by that little criminal matter down in the Atlanta you may have heard about.
