I mean 1k sounds really expensive, I am sure it'll be much much lower than that. Fair or not, it'll be compared to gaming consoles in terms of price.

Indeed! It looks and runs awesome on Switch 1! (that's where I played it back when it first released)

Yea it's a longer-view strategy and it makes sense. I like seeing publishers make space for talented, creative teams to produce "AA" games or smaller scoped ones, instead of trying to cram every resource into fewer, bigger budgeted mainstream targetted productions.

Agh yea it is really unfortunate. Lost Crown is such a fresh and fitting entry for Prince of Persia and it's all so fun and polished on like, every platform.

Hope you enjoy it, I thought it was awesome all the way through. Loved the feel and mobility of the character. I remember enjoying the platforming a bunch as well.

Not every game is for everyone and it's all subjective. I personally am glad for games that strike a chord very well with specific players rather than always trying broadly appeal to everyone. Means I won't be able to get into some, but the tradeoff is I'll be able to really get into certain others.
