Not a real doctor; real worm. I've done radio for kids for a weirdly long time. Not your lawyer, but maybe your amusement park law prof. SpareTheRock.com. Wrote a book: RecreationAndRisk.com (Carolina Academic Press). He/him; my views only here.

I got briefly *very* excited, because Apple Maps shows the Speedway on Snelling as having a Taco Sheriff, but that is an error. The nearest one remains Illinois.

Ah, Dr. Simon Golden (a/k/a presumably some genAI thing) is back to praising my content about a subject about which I have never written, but somehow I did so clearly and engagingly.
November 26, 2025 at 5:35 PM
Today Dr. Golden is back to Recreation and Risk, again urging me to write a book I have already written, though this time it would apparently only take fifteen hours of my time. It is true that that’s fewer hours than I took writing my actual book.

Gonna need a full taxonomy of hands-laying, with illustrations and possibly video, as defined by Eric Ramsay.

Mr.—pardon me, Dr.—Simon Golden now thinks I should instead (or also?) write a book about privacy work for trans folks, which is, notably, not the work that I actually do, but at least time it is a subject about which I have not already published a book:

The permit was more visible last night and suggests that the space facing Selby (where they’ve added an accessible entrance and where there’s very active work being done) will be office space, though it also contemplates being done in June of 2024.

It is always good to see and catch up with Rhett Miller.

Contrast that with Six Flags Great America’s (which is at least similar to other SF parks’):

As far as I can tell, the park‘s policies don’t speak explicitly to the questions, though this part suggests that part of the site is still also a bit under construction:

I’m just gonna finish this story in my head, NextDoor

Doing this tomorrow—note, for members of the Mac community only this time. If you know someone who’s part of that community who needs help with name or gender marker changes, send this to them.

(And I’m up for doing another public clinic anytime, so DM if you want to discuss that.)

I wonder what the over/under would be if one were to bet on how many people will show up in Prior Lake for shows in Shakopee and vice versa

I know nothing matters, but “things happen” is a wild way to describe the murder and dismemberment of a U.S. journalist by a foreign power (to say nothing of implicitly suggesting someone not being liked would justify that)

Depending on how deep a playoff run #MNUFC makes, I’m just about half done with the scarf. (I’ve done 22 matches and 62 goals out of 35 matches with 120 total goals (including PKs). PKs will have some sort of shiny thread alongside the yarn to signal that they aren’t regular goals.
