Sign of bad switch was that old one did not make a loud clicking sound. Take photo of old switch while connected so you attach wires back to proper connectors when you install new switch. Lower wire was almost too short but just fit. Connect wires before screwing down new switch to help that.

Also, it might also help some students with learning differences. After that, students will conference face-to-face with the teacher to discuss the content of the statement with regards to the literature studies. We'll see how it goes when used in a week or two. #EduSky #AiinEd

The chatbot is setup to provide feedback on the general good practices for a statement (clarity, defendable argument, etc) NOT getting into content about the literature. The idea is that asking students to speak preciously instead of writing may encourage some different thinking.

I was working with a high school English teacher last week to create an AI chatbot (using FlintK12) to help students refine the first draft of a thesis statement for an essay. The kind of unique part is students dictate the statement using voice only.

For those who familiar with @flintk12.bsky.social, functionality for creation is similar with the addition of you picking the AI model. However, Flint has benefits of a TOS and privacy policy for minor student use and transparency of teacher seeing chat transcripts. #AIinEducation

While I have some formal training in programming from years ago, it's not something I do regularly. I'm using Python for this, which I picked up ad-hoc on my own. So I determine the logic, but as I start typing code I let GC autocomplete suggest syntax instead of frequently looking it up elsewhere.
