I hear that a lot of them are saving as much as they can in advance of increased prices - but it's a catch-22. To avoid tariffs, they have to ramp up. They have to pay the tariffs to stay in business to afford to ramp up though, and they can't afford to ramp up if they have to pay the tariffs.

I'm still used to FB, where I can post an entire photo album under one general caption, then caption each photo as well.
Here, I was using the alt text just to add my captions to the photos.

I received a notice that someone reported this post. I'm not sure why, I was just reporting on the event.

And as a photographer, it is my intention to photograph similar events and post those, too.

It was at the north entrance to the University Towne Center mall in San Diego. There's a Tesla store inside the mall, the protesters stayed on the sidewalk at the intersection of La Jolla Village Drive and Executive Drive. Actually, at all four corners - but staying on public sidewalks.

Tariffs are meant to encourage American manufacturers to purchase from American sources. That's why they make Americans pay the tariff if they purchase from a tariffed nation.
(Note: AMERICANS pay the tariff.)
And when the only sources are from those tariffed nations? What then?

I'm looking for a little more info on the San Diego - UTC event today. The site says "outside the mall" (which makes sense, the Tesla presence is a store inside the mall, private property.) Of course, we want to remain on public property, but just where outside the mall would it be?
