Technically, you are wrong. The courts don't decide what the law is. The elected representatives (lawmakers) decide what should be illegal, and the courts just try to determine if any action was in breach of those laws.

Tariffs are a useful tool when used strategically. I see no strategy here or even an understanding of what strategy even entails.

Maybe we need to start giving academic journals a 'credit score' based on the number of fake papers they publish, then link peer review by including this score when reviewing papers by looking through the bibliography. It's something that could be easily automated.
