I'm finally getting around to learning to use Pixinsight for my astrophotography processing. Here are my first two efforts: M31 and the Dumbbell Nebula. Both were captured with my Dwarf 3 smart telescope - quite an impressive little device for the price. #astronomy #astrophotography

I wrote my novel and created the cover myself. "The Seed of Joy" is about a young American Peace Corps volunteer who becomes involved in the bloody Gwangju Uprising in South Korea in 1980. The tragedy of the Uprising paved the way from dictatorship to the current modern democracy in Korea.

Here's an image I captured recently of M31, the Andromeda Galaxy. I used my handy lil Dwarf 3 smart telescope. Processing the image is an ongoing learning experience for me. 77 subs, 60 sec, 60 gain, Astro filter, processed with Siril and Affinity Photo 2.
