Looks like a lot of people know how to remove spaghetti…..

We hiked up to the canyon today and there was minimal, spotty damage from the fierce winds, but the Eaton fire never got into our canyon. All of the cabins and the Pack Station are ok. We had one broken window. Thousands of people lost their homes in the fires, my window doesn’t matter.

I’ve been bombarded with strange dreams since the fires. 😢

If only…..

Hoping to hike up to the cabin to check on things. The Forest Service just issued me a permit to access the canyon before they open it to the public this weekend. Fingers crossed that everything is OK.

FYI - my cabin and our remote canyon community escaped the Eaton fire. However many people I know were not so fortunate. 💔
