What a gem! Still can’t believe that L.S.Lowry (him of Match stick men fame) deigned to paint the Woolston Floating bridge! It was a treat visiting my dad in his dockside office on a Saturday morning making this crossing - superseded by the Brutalist Northampton bridge! #SouthamptonCityArtGallery
