Deep Purple - Concerto For Group and Orchestra. I saw them perform this live in 1999. It was a special night. There was even a guest appearance from Ronnie James Dio who sang Love Is All from Butterfly Ball in the second half of the show. Brilliant night.

Deep Purple (twice). I saw them for the first time on this tour at Knebworth in 1985 on their UK return, along with Scorpions, UFO, Meatloaf, Alaska, Mamas Boys, Blackfoot and Mountain.

Machine Head by a whisker. Both 5 star albums in my humble opinion, but Machine Head was my first Deep Purple album, so I will opt for that. Deep Purple album covers are usually pretty poor, but I do like Machine Head.
