@bilemasaroni@mastodon.social Technically every non-random voting system satisfies that property, with the probabilities being 0 or 1. Less pedantically, I'd imagine that such systems might risk either overemphasizing big parties and creating a two-party system where smaller parties can't compete, or overemphasizing small parties and making the optimal strategy be for parties to split into tons of tiny parties with one voter each. I suppose these problems could be gotten around, but not without complicating the system.

... a word like "more" or an affix for the adjective, and some kind of case or particle with the noun that is being compared to. Naturally, I wanted to do something different so I looked up different ways that natural languages did comparison and came up with the negative-juxtaposition method.

Someone once asked how my name is pronounced.

I made this shortly after I created the name several months ago, now I think of this whenever I read the name (I don't have perfect pitch so it's in whatever key). Sometimes the fermata isn't there and the A is a quaver instead.

kari [kɐ˧ri˧] n.IV inan.

Etymology: ka "dog" + ri "three". Reason? It was literally revealed to me in a dream (see image alt text).

In my dream, I was messaging @varduplazostitis.bsky.social, and he started discussing his conlang, in which he had created a new word, with the exact same meanings I have given ⟨kari⟩, and attached an image of three Shiba Inu sitting on the lawn of a garden, each facing the camera. All three of the Shiba Inu had a similar coat to each other (very much like the dogs on the left and right of the image).
