Investor. Nihilist’ish
What’s preventing fake submissions to the lists? Or fake accounts generating content in order to get a persons name on the lists? So reckless.

Honestly I think it takes time. Like months or years for people to get it. My example, the girl, just isn’t ready to read stocks and markets. But I can tell it’s resonating.

My oldest starts college in the fall. She’s a smart slacker, works the system well with minimal effort. B+ student. I show her the compounding/time chart and she refuses to engage me on any of it.

Ha, not really. If I were trading those in a bigger acct they wouldn’t even register on the return.

For spec trading I’m mostly a swing trader. For a couple days , usually months. Mostly for fun I’d never trade my core holdings in that stuff. If it’s a good one I’ll move it to a long hold. Of that group above I did move MELI to long hold. All the other stuff is a momentum swing.

Thats the spec acct. Got lucky in a go-go market. Last couple yrs it was full of stuff like APP, TMDX, SMCI, CELH, RKLB, FOUR, HIMS, GLBE, ASPN, MELI, NU. I was disciplined enough to sell into strength, for once. Sold out of most after the election and waiting…

I’m assuming annualized since there’s new money and reinvestment of divys. Taxable II also gets withdrawals since I’ll pull money out for large purchases on occasion. Correct me if I’m off.

Hear that. 20% of my taxable accts is class b shares bought 20 yrs ago. All I’d do with the proceeds is buy short term bills and pay a lot of tax. I have no idea what to do.

Divy investing shills always remind me of two stocks I bought at about the same time 18 yrs ago at about the same $1500 total amount and let both ride. JNJ and AAPL. Felt way better about the JNJ buy at the time.
