On a Friday afternoon walk in Asylum Lake Preserve, I saw a hawk stalking a squirrel. I didn't hang around for the finale - as a human in the area, I was interfering with the work in the kitchen.

Grounded.

Today was so windy the gulls were beached. No flights in or out.

No enormous waves, though - the forecast was for waves "up to 20 feet." There were many disappointed visitors today. And I still have sand in my ears.
