"Sure, if you can get buy-in and investors, the federal government will get it approved."

It's like telling Trump that Canada will join Golden Dome.

Neither cost anything because neither will ever happen. But both build a little good will when it's desperately needed

And shall we discuss his actions and statements regarding sexual harassment?

If you are in, or close to Halifax, Cyclesmith on Agricola and in Burnside. Followed by MEC.

Do not order online unless you are doing a direct replacement.

Good luck!

I subscribe to your newsletter. And I tried to read it; I really did. But most days I can't. I. Just. Can't.

Kudos to you for sitting through it when I can't even stand your (excellent) summary.

This is excellent news. A win for you and a win for @thestar.com.

And would it kill the organizers to book a Canadian act for half time? MGK? Really?

Yes, I'm a boomer. It's not the genre.

I read and listen to only one source in the off-season, @wilnerness.bsky.social Mike Wilner.

Doesn't chase rumours and has great guests, especially for his periodic round tables.

No way this guy made this shirt. Why is that important?

Because it means that some "entrepreneur" saw a market, bought the inventory, and set up a sales system, whether online, a booth at conventions, or both. There's a market.

Epstein won't end Trump unless he's impeached in both houses.

Perkins on St James (YWG) was at its best at 3 a.m., after leaving a mess dinner, still in full rig. (Or so I have been told).

It's long since closed.

For about 5 years, I lived near Little Portugal along St Clair Ave in Toronto. You are correct.

Jr worked at SB during uni. Excellent employer then. Good hours. Dental and vision bennies we're BETTER than my CAF ones. Worked her way up to Trg Supr.

Stayed post-uni but ended up leaving due to the lack of upward mobility options.

That said, many of her work friends have left as things slid.

As I was going through mine, a fellow traveler posed this riddle:

Q: Why does divorce cost so much?
A: It's worth it

The Ecology Action Centre runs Bike Again, a co-op that accepts used bikes and sells them as a way to generate income. Try them.

I volunteer as a mechanic at Squeaky Wheel, a similar co-op in London Ontario.

Bike mechanic here. A lot of e-bikes use proprietary tech, esp for the drive train. That's not a prob if you have a network of dealers or affiliated shops. Rad is D2C, with a very small shop list. And, having seen some in the shop, the build qual leaves something to be desired.
