We are experiencing an atmospheric river atm so dug into my archives and decided on this Mariposa Lily, RMNP. Might have already posted it but it’s too lovely to care. #FlowerReport

Happening now: night blooming cereus! I missed the blossom last night, but there is a second that is blooming now. This blossom is bigger than my hand (palm+fingers) and has a scent similar to jasmine but sweeter and less intense. Really wish I had a better camera! #FlowerReport

I haven’t had time this year until vacation for flower photos. But I made up for it! Look at these beauts!

Identified these plants as best I could, using “Wildflowers of the Rocky Mountain Region” by the Denver Botanic Gardens. All plants were in Rocky Mountain National Park.

New Years camellia.

I chopped the shrub back this fall, and remaining branches have flowers and buds. Yay! #FlowerReport

MyShake App puts epicenters of earthquakes on a map, this one in the ocean. I have no idea what the sources are for this information.

Finally remembered to plant tulip bulbs today; there’s a break of dry weather before the wind storm and rain hit this afternoon. I even saw Mt Rainier this morning!

Also took the break to photograph some remaining summer flowers and new flowers on evergreen native plants.

Fishlock signed an extension with the Reign through 2025. Yay!

Related, how do we get clubs and related professionals (SG, affiliated and indy writers, photographers) to start posting here and/or make BlueSky their #1? It would be nice if they did it here instead of over there.

I have allergies to both dogs and cats, so I have plants instead. Below is the columbine native to WA state, that I planted in my yard.

Posting flowers to try to ease election anxiety. #FlowerReport

This is an early camellia; this shrub is usually in full bloom in February but atm there are 5 blooms on it, and maybe a couple more will blossom before February.

Dahlias (v2)! #FlowerReport
Plants are still making flower buds, flowers are smaller and colors are less intense than flowers that are produced in the summer, but still lovely.
