Sing away the winter cold with more shanty sessions in Greenwich's beautiful National Maritime Museum. These informal and friendly sessions are a chance to meet new people and practice singing some simple sea shanties. You will also get the opportunity to take to the stage at Greenwich Theatre on 1 December as part of The Good Pirate You don't need any experience just enjoy the experience and sing with gusto!

Fancy joining the crew of The Good Pirate? We are running a short, informal introductory workshop at Greenwich Theatre on Monday 3rd November. The workshop will be an informal mix of movement/song and warm ups alongside a chance to meet some of the team and find out more about being a part of the show on 1st December. The production is developed and performed by participants, predominantly older LGBTQ+ people and is a chance to meet new people and have some fun. All aboard the Cutty Sark for the first of two productions of The Good Pirate. Bijou Stories is taking to the high seas as part of their latest project, which gives a queer twist to tales of piracy and the mythology of the sea. The show, a re-imagining of a traditional variety show/cabaret, will reinterpret the pirate as an escapee from a homophobic, patriarchal society, traveling on a magical Cutty Sark to meet characters and visit lands both real and imagined.
