Oh please. The majority of my state used to belong to Mexico. We are immersed in the language and culture--and are better for it. My fellow white people who are so worked up over this--stop being such snowflakes. Go touch grass. Oh, and--Bad Bunny is a US citizen in case you didn't know.
I know 2 people who died from ODing on fentanyl. I still care that the US is ILLEGALLY blowing up fishing boats in the water and pretending it is justified. Both can be true at the same time.

I sure hope Senator Murkowski is happy with her vote now. This bill will now become law. The House did NOT change anything in it. Their response was "It's good enough." I hope she can sleep at night.

The school district where I work has a reading program funded through Americorps. We just found out today the program is no longer funded b/c of DOGE cuts and cannot continue. It was a really great program that had good success for our students. Gotta have those tax cuts for billionaires!

I'm not an Eagles fan, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching them take the Chiefs down in a complete rout. No more 3peat nonsense talk for a few years at least. Nothing warms my heart better than seeing a bunch of MAGAs lose their collective shit over their darlings losing and hating the Halftime show.

Hey, y'all. In case you were wondering if prices will go up in the US once Canada and Mexico's retaliatory tariffs go into effect--the answer is HELL YES. We the US consumer will pay for the tariffs with higher prices. That's how it works. There are no real winners in a drawn-out tariff war.
