Public policy these days feels like a game of Wheel of Fortune where every wedge on the wheel says “Laissez-Faire Capitalism”

And very few people living today have ever experienced genuine liberation.

Politicking is a constellation of ideas about how we view ourselves, other people, and the relationships that tie us together. It can’t be summed up into Team Red vs Team Blue. If we are gonna sum it up into anything, it’s oppression vs liberation.

Who came up with this whole left wing/right wing model of thought? Funny how we’ve questioned every other binary but not this one. It’s just not a way of organizing thought that makes sense. What the right does is on a totally different plane of reality than what the left does.

There’s no such thing as a leftist who shoots randomly into a crowd. Leftists CARE ABOUT OTHERS. That’s their defining trait. There is no horseshoe of ideology. It’s a propaganda tool powerful people invented to divert blame. It’s fictional whataboutism on an industrial scale.

Anyways history is fascinating and people have resisted and overthrown fascist regimes many times in the past in many parts of the world in many ways. It always seems impossible, but fascist power is always an illusion. Can’t imagine how this is relevant to the modern day tho 👀

Did you know if you tie up a car washing sponge into a ball, boil it in sugar syrup and then dry it until it’s rock hard and take off the string, it’ll stay in a dense little ball until it gets wet again? If you flushed it down a toilet, it would expand deep in the plumbing and clog everything.

Two tools I could imagine a 21st century rebel finding pretty useful off the top of my head, theoretically: expanding foam (spray into coin slots, keyholes, etc.) and stink bombs (drop in crowded places, head down keep walking).

The point is to inundate the occupying force with a thousand tiny little irritations that clog up the system of the country with bullshit. There is no aiming for specific war/government related infrastructure. It’s ALL relevant. Make the comfortable populace irritated and frustrated.

They would cut random wires, break workplace machinery, clog toilets, create infestations, corrupt data. My favourite example is catching some moths in a paper bag and releasing them in a movie theatre. They flock to the projector light and disrupt the film.
