Yes, not to diminish the issues of people in inner cities. They face harsher systemic barriers, but I feel finding common ground can help people better understand each other.

Many of my friends are in prison now for drugs or worse. In some ways living in a very poor rural town is similar to the struggles of people in poor inner cities. High crime, poor education, drugs, hopelessness, and everyone wants a way out.

There is still a lot of good in the world and there are a lot of people who are ignorant because of where they grew up, but COULD be good if enlightened by life experience.

Fucked up thing is theyve brainwashed many of us into inaction. I grew up in a small Texas town and tbh I was racist because I knew nothing else until I left and realized everything I had been taught was wrong and saw who is the real problem. Now I stand beside you in solidarity.

Fuck these mf's. I'm probably a bit more militant than some folks here but I'm down with full lobbying for life sentences in prison for this entire administration. Strip them of all wealth and lock them up until death. Ignore the law if needed because that is what they're doing. I'm radicalized.

As "bro-type" guy who grew up in deep red smalltown Texas where we still had lead drinking water pipes and was part of "the cult" and later moved to a blue state and mysteriously flipped politically and became a more accepting person, I'm a 100% convinced it has something to do with it.

Democratic moderates need to go away for real change to happen. I voted for Harris, but she was the product of centrists and inaction of the old order, the Nancy Pelosis and Bill/Hillary clinton era. The old Democratic party is dying so a new and more honest one can be reborn.

The GOP wants more lead in drinking water. Brain damage from lead pipes is what caused boomers to radicalize to the right.
