For sure. Blocking at the DNS level can have unintended consequences, too. I was recently blocked on a project, unable to figure out why a request kept crashing. I spent a few days combing through the project, using xdebug, etc.

I use Pihole! You can get similar benefits by pointing your router's DNS resolver at AdGuard: adguard-dns.io/en/public-dn...

Doesn't solve for being away from home wifi. And it can block useful stuff, or project dependencies. Also depends on your tolerance for becoming your home's sysadmin 😬
