Most people are genuinely bad at math, bad at risk assessment, bad at statistics, or, hear me out, just want to make money on disease, with its resulting death and consequence. Vaccines are possibly the greatest invention in human history.

I recommend doubling down on AAP, ACOG, and AAFP. All three are independent from government influence and base their recommendations on data

Absolutely not. While opinions should not be censored, this was in fact a piece with many easily fact-checked lies written from a position of “authority” (this not an opinion). If Daines had written “I don’t like those drugs because women should be controlled”, that’s his (reprehensible) opinion.

Steve Daines is not qualified to speak on any science or medicine matter. He believes that 6000 years ago the earth was created in 7 days. He is not even remotely qualified to evaluate a medicine and its risk factors (never mind excellent safety profile of mifepristone and misoprostol).

Be concerned, very, very concerned. I don’t understand the end game of dismantling the healthcare system from within, but it likely less to do with healthcare itself, and more about making the rest of us hopeless and powerless. Fight. Protest. Defy. Be a PITA. Americans are good at that.

Watching my medical world go up in smoke is painful. Having the government cripple my ability to care for patients is sinister, and demoralizing. I can retire in a few years, but patients and younger physicians are stuck in this dystopian death cult.
