Let's name school shootings after the politicians blocking gun reform instead of the towns they happen in. Eat plants to fight climate change...it's delicious 😋 activism. 🌱 Shop local. EV Drivers Kick Gas. Living on stolen land of the Ohlone tribe.
Another way I go #plasticfree is to buy flowers at my local farmers market, where the grower wraps them in paper and appreciates my patronage. Shopping locally also fights corporate greed.

Would you cut your carbon footprint in half if it was easy and delicious? Let #meatlessmonday inspire you to eat more plant based meals overall. In times when we feel helpless, action is the antidote to despair.

Ice is in my town tonight, terrorizing small businesses in Oakland.

I hugged so many beautiful queer people at #sanfranciscopride today while wearing my late friend Hugh 's gayest of gay accessories and shrug.

The most notable thing about the #NoKings protest in Oakland, is that there were no cops to be seen. Zero. Nada. And we didn't need them.

Another #happytobevegan moment. Thank you. Chickpea noodle soup is delicious without deadly pathogens. 😋

I know this is crazy, but since 1989 I have enjoyed an incredibly delicious and safe diet of just plants. No worry about deadly pathogens in chicken. No need for fake meat. Just delicious food from around the globe. 😉😋

Did you know that 91% of rainforest destruction is to clear land to raise cows? We need oxygen. We don't need beef. Cut your personal carbon 👣 in 1/2 by eating plantbased. #ditchbeef #vegan

I am re-facing my dry erase board (you'll still be able to write on it as I have a film laminate that turns any surface into a dry erase surface) and am debating on the background art. Please weigh in on your favorite.

After losing everything I own when my uhaul truck was stolen an hour before getting the keys to the condo I just purchased, I have been scoring some great finds on Facebook marketplace. Last night's win was this authenticated, signed print by Keith Haring to help rebuild my art collection:

Another meal, another day of cutting my personal footprint in half by choosing plant-based meals over animal-based meals. I call it delicious activism. If you hate seeing the suffering caused by climate disasters, join me. It's easy and delectable. #dietforaburningplanet #eatveg

Wednesday I made this sweet potato chickpea curry, spiced rice, And other food for 25+ people for about $200 including spices. Eating plant based is NOT expensive, and saves money in healthcare and climate mitigation. Do something delicious for the planet today. 🌍 #dietforclimate #govegan

Some of you know I recently lost everything I own when my uhaul was stolen. Poppy and I have been working hard at rebuilding and she loves her new sofa. The little pillow was made my my daughter in sewing camp years ago and was something I found in the rubble of what was left in my truck. #caturday

Every day you can easily and deliciously cut your carbon footprint in half by replacing animal based meals with plants based meals. Every day you can cut 20 lbs of carbon, save 1,100 gallons of water while enjoying your food just as much. Or we can keep watching the planet burn. It is up to us.

Politely asking corporate America to stop causing climate destruction is not working. The single most impactful action an individual can take to reduce carbon is to eat plants. The next is to drive an electric vehicle. If you are horrified by the extreme weather disasters, do something to change it.
