It's #FAFO season

Projections that forecast a catastrophic financial hit due to a massive jump in boycotts if they axed their DEI programs. Ironically, prepared by the same folks who provided Costco the same analysis which led them to unanimously vote to keep theirs. Target has lost over $15b in valuation so far.

Now they're being sued, supposedly by a cadre of right-wing investors, for fraud... because Target management not only hid the extent of the damage they took over the Pride debacle, but then also failed to disclose the projections they received last year.

which has increased astronomically since their big DEI announcement. Apparently they've lost around 20% of their customer base, possibly more, over it.

Target's support of the protests in Ferguson won a lot of goodwill & loyalty from the left at the time. They rode that for a while, then for some reason decided to turn a 180. After they began pandering to right-wing complaints by shedding their pride merch, they've been boycotted to some degree,
