Sorry but that is unbearable, AI just doesn’t work for a podcast. And pronouncing NIKKEI as Nicky just tipped me over the edge. I’ve unsubscribed, no podcast is better than a bad AI generated one, especially when there are so many good ones out there.

Still don’t get why they quote the employer contribution. It could be 1% and the payout at the end would be the same. Contributions are irrelevant for a DB scheme.

Their aim to to reduce their tax rate. I think the founders aim is to charge customers nothing so a drop in take rate is expected. Are volumes growing at 30%+ Pa?
