Mind if I ask a more technical question? I'm just getting started in photography and have zero experience with body oil in any context, so I'm wondering what kind you used? Are there some oils that photograph better than others? Is the shoot messy? Thanks and have a great day!

The mysterious fourth project is done for 2025. I'll push it forward in 2026 as my other projects get finished.

On the photography end, I've decided to leverage some ideas I had for a completely different set of projects as I look for a style to adopt. Things will either be ok or they will crash and burn magnificently. I have a model willing to experiment with me, so I'll do some prep work then report back.

The illustration project is going more slowly than anticipated. I'll admit that I was cocky going into it, and it has turned out to be more than I anticipated. So I've slowed down to keep quality up, even if it means that it will take longer. Oh well... my schedule is fairly arbitrary anyway.

Holy moly, did I really need another project?
Yes I did. Heh.

Alana helped me out with this one. I'll review our work and make some edits, then after I've identified shortcomings and fixes we'll meet again for another go. I'm guessing photography is much like other things... repetition is key.

I get this. I've been working on my art nonstop this year, and thus far I haven't let the environment influence what I work on. But sometimes I wonder if I should set aside my projects and work on something more political, even if no one sees or cares. I don't know if I will, but it is a thought.
