I have one bookshelf I share with my partner and if I run out of shelf space I usually sell them. I don't really reread novels, so those are the first to go, but reference books are hard to part with. I used to have an encyclopedia of fairy folklore that I regret selling because I forgot the title!

I'm thinking about playing that too, but I worked briefly at Bethesda customer support and it was a bad experience, so it'll be the first time I give them money since I left. Is it worth it to finally bury the hatchet?

I get the message, but this feels like poor taste to me. Juxtaposing the frivolous lyrics with what is a horrible and ongoing tragedy feels callous to me. I'm not a tender or emotional person, but that's what I think. Sorry to be a party pooper.

This is literally the first day I'm engaging in social media since I picked my background song on Myspace so I think I'll stay on for a little longer and then not touch it again for 20 years

I once had a coworker who had a Filipino wife, and it turned out his wife was a literal mail order bride. I'm not saying this guy's Filipino wife is a mail order bride, but it would be a lot less surprising to find that out than it was to find out my coworker's wife was.
