It was meant to pretend to be a real person living locally in the community but luckily it had the complexity of an early 00s chatbot because the IT organisation hired to do it lied about their capabilities and got our project audited for government funding fraud

I used to work for a social program that tried to get it's own ai chatbot made to refer people affected with mental health vulnerability, education poverty, NEET and in-work poverty to our services.

these are all great points imo, personally I have enormous safeguarding concerns regarding use of AI in education and the third sector,I should really find the time to articulate them

it used to be a thing where they'd post dog pictures on fb groups whatever to get followers and then sell that account to a dodgy marketing company on sites like fiverr but these days it could be to boost some propaganda account's public followers, or something else I haven't thought of
