Oh also, I didn't realize I was allowed to have color in my art. I didn't think that the printers used for the book would allow for color and I didn't want to risk any detail being lost. Although now that I'm this close to being finished, I can't imagine this in color.

I'm not allowed to post the actual finished version of this, the only difference is that some off the "grit" is going to be toned down and made more uniform to fit with the other artists featured in the book.

I don't think I'll be able to share the work I'm doing for my friend's poetry book, at least until it's published and available to everyone, but once it is I'll probably make a post about it
