Designer games didn’t really exist much for me in the 60’s & early 70’s as a kid & teen or at least we never saw them. I dove into D&D when it first appeared & then Avalon Hill wargaming when I discovered them. Different card games too. Once we had kids I introduced them to games & it renewed it all

As a kid I played monopoly and “The Game of Life” literally hundreds of times. Along with the game Inventors and Payday
