Here's the thing - if the administration down the line spreads propaganda about how he's actually doing much better than the nasty media is reporting, how will we distinguish that from terminal lucidity?

And that's the galling thing - even if these individuals just ultimately want to be left alone to live how they want to, they yet insist everywhere else they're never going to exist should cater to the same values.

It's much easier/lazier to just say "just give us all your wealth and be punished by poverty" than to guide them through gradual, sustainable philanthropy.
