None of those seem to relate to the shape of the Earth. Neither the church's stance nor the regular person's stance. If you have evidence that either believed the Earth to be flat you could share that instead of agreeing to disagree.

There's no evidence that common people thought the earth was flat. They likely believed whatever the church said. But that's beside the point, the quote implies that the church thought it was flat.

By "fact" I mean things like "The church was organized 195 years ago today" and "First printed Books Of Mormon became available on March 26 1830". He had quite a few things like that.

Bednar's talk was heavy on fact. It was very informative, but much of it were things I already knew. This is why I didn't write much for his talk but have already written more for Sister Runia (whose talk is still underway).
