Refreshingly sane. Thank you.

No dwelling here. Just trying to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Can’t be a bad thing.

I think you might be right, but hope you’re not.

Ha. Tapping out. I have eyes and ears and I trust them. I wanted the guy to win. But, they didn’t put him in front of a camera unscripted for years. No unscripted appearances for years too. These are facts. He seems like a great guy and was a good president. But he never should have run again.

Dems lost the election by a few percentage points in a handful of key states. It’s not Biden is old. It’s he wasn’t well enough to be an effective opponent against Trump. Better, less deceitful decisions made by a handful of people may have led to a Dems victory. Saving us all from Trump.

I don’t think a major news outlet should mimic an online shopping channel. I also don’t believe that Biden, and his decision to run and hang on to power is irrelevant. It’s an important and legitimate story to tell. Especially given the outcomes resultant from those decisions.
May 27, 2025 at 8:34 PM
Both Tapper and Thompson on record saying that no one would speak to the media before the election, but afterwards they had over 200 people come forward. Maybe this is why the book and reporting on the subject is only coming out now?
May 27, 2025 at 8:23 PM
Kamala was a couple of percentage points away in some key states from winning. ONLY blaming oligarchs (and fuck those guys) lets others who played a hand in this disaster off the hook. More than one lesson can be learned form this.
May 27, 2025 at 8:14 PM
That’s an overreach by Tapper. Not worse than watergate. Agree with you there. But, even without the book, it’s clear that Biden wasn’t up to running, let alone holding office for another full term. Choosing to do so, and encouraging him to do so, made it easier for Trump to win.
May 27, 2025 at 7:57 PM
Agree. Trump is the worst and genuinely dangerous. Biden, and his team, made a series of decisions that contributed to a Trump win. One can believe both things at once.
May 27, 2025 at 7:50 PM
No incidents or occurrences besides the debate? Have you not eyes or ears?
May 27, 2025 at 6:24 PM
Couldn’t agree more. If we learn nothing from this, we’re done. I’ve just been accused of being a fascist for daring to question the official party line??? Irony is dead.
May 27, 2025 at 6:22 PM
I genuinely don’t even know what you mean. Should we not demand better from those who represent us?
May 27, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Lies and cover ups aren’t shortcomings. I will always support those opposing fascism. I just want my side to do so with integrity.
May 27, 2025 at 6:17 PM
“Being mad at Biden makes me pro-trump” ? Most concise example yet of the kind of thinking that has the US is such a mess right now. I hate everything Trump stands for. I have always supported the dems. I will continue to do so. I just want them to get their house in order. Asap!
May 27, 2025 at 6:13 PM
Biden being allowed to run again made it easier for Trump to win. Not because he was old, but because he wasn’t fit enough to do the job. I stand by this. I am the opposite of pro-trump. I wanted them to win. I want them to always win. I don’t want them to make the same mistakes again.
May 27, 2025 at 6:03 PM
I’m on your side. I should have said “those advising Biden” let Trump in. But I stand by my points. No use attacking anything unless your own house is in order. I wanted Dems to win. I want them to win next time. I don’t want them to make the same mistakes again.
May 27, 2025 at 5:59 PM
You’re all mad as fuck. Trump is the worst. The dems let him in. An examination of how this happened is a worthwhile and necessary thing to do. All these things can be true at the same time.
