What about the article on TPM that Schumer will trade a vote on a 30-day clean bill that he knows he's going to lose for cloture on the Trump-Musk bill? Can you make sure your Democratic colleagues in the Senate hold the line on cloture too?

No; this is BS that just adds economic friction and reduces trust. If you legitimize stiffing your contractors, we all lose. I knew a pianist who used to live in south Florida. He played a gig at Mar-A-Lago and Trump tried to pull this crap on him. He had to threaten to sue to get paid in full.

He was always an odd duck and racist AF. First guy I ever saw chain smoking -- I was introduced to him outside one of the Edens dorms at Duke, and he would light his next cigarette with the remainder of the current one. Just about the last person who needs to be in a position of power.

It's literally called "Muntzing" and the Elon Musk of the '50s used to do it physically, walking through the lab and snipping off parts of TVs until they quit working.
