Feeder is from Birdfy, solenoid was from U.S. Solid, phone script was created in Tasker

Yeah, I had it set up for mocking birds as well for a bit cause they were a bit aggressive when I first put up the feeder. The feeder app lists the bird it sees so I'd just grab the notification and if it contained 'squirrel' or 'mocking' it turned on the hose

I connected a WiFi enabled solenoid valve to a hose and set up a script on my phone so when the camera detected a squirrel it got blasted with the hose briefly. It was very effective.
