I really like the SNES Slayers game too, even if it was very weird as someone who had only watched the first season of the anime. Your party through most of the game was actually side characters from the anime, with you only getting the 'iconic' party at the final boss. Kind of neat twist.

NASA was one of the few government branches I respected (others being things like NOAA which also seemed to primarily serve mankind) but I guess orders from on-high are king, sadly.

This video ultimately made me realize I'd feel much happier with myself if I released said projects for free. Some of them are educational in nature, and I felt like I'd be betraying my roots to charge. That, and I never want to begin not enjoying the things I love because of financial associations.

I deeply respect this! I grew up poor, without a proper education, so almost everything I learned I learned from free resources I found here and there. Now that I've been making my own creative projects, I had a dilemma on whether or not I monetize them, or leave them free like the things I enjoyed.
