The genre is irrelevant. It’s a single-player game with MTX. People who want to purchase and enjoy the game can do so at no extra cost, and people who want to ruin the experience for themselves literally have to pay Capcom to do so lol. If you don’t like the microtransactions then just ignore them?

Capcom has had these kinds of microtransactions in all of their major single-player games since RE7 and nobody has ever made any kind of fuss over it until now. It just feels like a manufactured bullet point to lump in with all the actual problems the game has and foster more outrage

trying not to spoil anything, but there are queer characters. i wouldn’t categorize it as a “queer game” but said characters are a pretty integral part of the story
