I feel like I am so leery of being "obvious" or "in your face" that I can easily err into the territory of a reader not even knowing a character point, theme, etc. 😅

100%. Depends on the institution, of course, but often a bigger issue than pay is course sizes and course loads, none of which are at a good point for faculty or students and their learning.

Fan of the Goron myself, but I'm worried how well those big chunks of friendly rock will translate to cinematic realism!

Considering live-action actually means "digital animation made to look photo-realistic" I can't even with these. All the charm of the original animation drained out for... a husk that doesn't have any magic remaining.

Damnit, I was feeling all weird about it because it wasn't the same mysterious Predator vibe from the original (what, no stealth, no mask?), but... you all are making me want to see it. Sounds like the movie's being what it wants and needs to be.

He had such range, too. I remember being shocked when I realized the detective character I liked in High and Low was the same actor who played the no-good villain in Yojimbo.

Sure, there are limitations to 1st person, like there is with any voice. But those stipulations almost make it sound like 1st person is a brand new, in-vogue thing to do in literature. It's not new and a lot of literature (YA or otherwise) makes it work well!

Blocked that guy, sorry you had to deal with that.

I liked what it was going for (in outline it's doing a lot of good things, specifics less so), but not sure if I can 100% agree on Dwayne Johnson. Might need to see it again, but he felt a little too reserved still for the emotions needed in the latter portions.
