There a lot of potential reasons. One thing we no indeed is that misinformation works. I believe Trump being in office is a result of that.

Well, there’s different reasons for being anonymous. Your reason might be because of whatever your reason is with a hamburger profile picture. Their reason would be to cover up their true identity as they spew racist, rhetoric, and derogatory statements. Fear of being fired, or called out.
