My son, with his underwear down by his ankles, just ran past my husband, through the living room, out the door, to yell at me while I was sitting on the porch to wipe his bum. I’ve reached the worst part of default parenting. 😖

It’s silly but when my dog steps on something I drop, I immediately have to say she can’t used it because she lacks thumbs. Then we stare at each other for a millisecond before I laugh and she gets wiggle butt and we go about our task merrily like we know she could if she wanted to.

How different are your arm and leg melanin levels?! Because I am severely struggling with my working outside motives (with sunscreen) and trying to keep normal with the kids these days 😅

I bake because I enjoy it, not because it’s where I’m meant to be.
I pick up a pen because it’s my weapon of choice, not because it’s the only one I can wield.
I create in color because they keep trying to go black-and-white, not because it’s all I know how to do.

I fed my #sourdough starter. FWIW I’m an illustrator. I happen to bake. I’ll be sharing my art too. I may delete my meta accounts. I’m just trying to find a place in the world I can do the harmless things I love without the hate.

I’m a huge baker and my go to foods are bread and pastries. Today was filled with some experimenting and yums. Chive bread here and it paired perfectly with homemade lasagna bolognese. ❤️🔥 #sourdough #baking
