Leeds United's Anton Stach tells German media why Daniel Farke has dropped him share.google/l6jASepwcaGf...
I don't know the recovery time but he told German media it made him less aggressive and wary of challenges. Couple that with Ampadu rushed back yet Gnonto fit for weeks seems strange

We will always have the fire beast no matter what happens

I agree with the lack of tactical nous and I believed in the idea that we would play two styles of football depending on the opposition and setup accordingly. In game management is shocking and confusing at times. We did have the best squad and we would again but some purchases are bottom 3 level

I would say championship level include all players we brought and I would include players we would likely keep if relegated at that level. So longstaff Bijol, probably Stach, Nmecha, Bornauw and Justin. Okafor, DCL and Gudmondsson are premier league.

Whatever happens I hold Daniel in high regard, he inherited and absolute shit show and turned us into a complete unit. His tactical stubbornness may get him fired but it did get us promoted 100% as he stated. Tough decisions ahead for us in a tough run of games. #Peacocks

Whatever happens it must change and we need at least a positive performance against villa. I want to see that early season work rate and tenacity. I don't want to see a broken ribbed Stach avoiding challenges when CM position is stacked with options.
November 15, 2025 at 7:23 AM
So now he certainly has the villa game to prove his worth. What would he need to do to keep faith. There need to be tactical changes no matter what. Five at the back, wing backs, Gnonto James featuring. Certain players dropped as statements, eg Ampadu, who has been poor.

We can always dream of a European spot under Hernandez with Gray as number 9, but this isn't realistic. It's a tough choice that if the 49rs do make, there needs to be a plan in place. If they were to make it, this international break should have been the time (Jessie again).
November 15, 2025 at 7:23 AM
Poaching someone mid-season is tough. In-work options we could target are Marco Silva (doing well at Fulham), Carlos Corberan (familiarity, pragmatic style), or Kieran McKenna (star at Ipswich). #MOT
November 15, 2025 at 7:23 AM
If we sack him, who’s next? Top out-of-work options include Brendan Rodgers (proven PL experience), Gary O'Neil (did well with Wolves), Marco Rose (top-level German coach), and Thiago Motta (Bielsa-esque style).
November 15, 2025 at 7:23 AM
Keep Farke? Stability is key, and we need to back him in January. A new boss brings chaos. Replace Farke? We need PL experience ASAP to survive, or we're guaranteed another relegation. It's a massive risk either way.
November 15, 2025 at 7:23 AM
Some question his man management too; players were frozen out earlier on, & some key loanees were let go. Rammazani and Geldhardt We need a manager who can adapt the team's style when the initial "Farkeball" press isn't working.
November 15, 2025 at 7:23 AM
But his Premier League record is awful. He seems tactically rigid, always stuck in formation, and his substitutions are too late and too predictable. We need in-game management that can change the flow when we're losing.
November 15, 2025 at 7:23 AM
The man got us promoted with record points. He built a winning culture & trust with the players, like with the Gnonto situation. The xG stats suggest his tactics are working; we just lack a clinical finisher up front. Stick with the plan???
November 15, 2025 at 7:23 AM
Want as many teams from Yorkshire up with us as possible. The electricity of a derby scintillates the crowd. Bamford finding another club is a wonderful thing. He can see his career out and flex those muscles he worked so hard on. Wish him nothing but the best. Suprised wilder wanted it though.
November 15, 2025 at 5:20 AM
We know we have it, we started the season this way. We know he can change it. Will he change it, probably not. Will he still be here, it looks likely for the moment. Will we beat Villa, I'm not entirely convinced based on these performances. #MOT

Before Aston Villa at home, Farke must fix the defensive lapses. We need better structure and sharper marking on crosses. We must be clinical and return to our defensive solidity.
November 11, 2025 at 5:20 PM
Farke is under increasing pressure after four losses in five games. While the board reportedly backs him, a tough fixture run is ahead. He needs home wins, fast.
November 11, 2025 at 5:20 PM
Post-match, Farke lamented we were "not switched on enough," especially after scoring. He also tried to shift blame to the referee for the foul before the second goal. Too many excuses.
November 11, 2025 at 5:20 PM
Farke’s tactics feel too conservative away. The 4-3-2-1 formation created little incision, resulting in the low xG. We need more pressure high up and better transition play. There are huge gaps inidfield which is ironic as we play so many of them.
November 11, 2025 at 5:20 PM
Nmecha's goal was a high point, showing our attacking potential. However, players like Aaronson and Stach struggled to influence the game, and the substitutes were woefully ineffective. Albeit James looked sharp and served as an outlet.
November 11, 2025 at 5:20 PM
The 90th-minute penalty was a clumsy mistake. Substitute Jack Harrison, playing left-back, ran into Hutchinson. A sign of desperation and poor late decision-making by the team.
