With Jade, Neri, and Seraph they all have similar backgrounds to Luces, but with their own little quirks. Neri's family is from an area closer to the Steppe, while Jade's is closer to the more southern part of Yanxia. Seraph's is from the same area as Luces'.

Chinese-Dominican here and my WoL, Luces, is Yanxian-Turali (Yanxian on his mom's side, Turali on his dad's), and raised in Gridania. Their story focuses on agency, unpacking intergenerational trauma, and learning to find joy. They've got a lot of siblings, aunties, uncles, etc.
