I'm really looking forward to watching these. Are you showing all of the surviving episodes? BBC released a few on tape/DVD a very long time ago but I know a few have turned up since, through private film collectors and projects like BFI's Rising Believed Wiped.

Nice. Did you see "Amelia Ducat" in yesterday's episode? 1976 and an eccentric old lady becomes the victim of a rare painting theft. Sadly it wasn't a painting of a Snakehead Fritillary and it wasn't stolen from a Daimler car boot, but otherwise the similarities with Seeds of Doom were remarkable.

I do love these. So informative in just 8 minutes. Always a treat to recognise local places as they were 55+ years ago. I just caught up with yesterday's episode on flood warning and recognised the bridge at Teston in Kent and nearby fields at Yalding and Teapot Island. They still flood most years.

The only invasion is from fascist billionaires like Trump. Why would anyone listen to advice from this deranged felon and his circus of arsesucking goons?

Congratulations! Thank you for the many hours of viewing pleasure such at Look at Life, Footage Detectives and all the rare archive film/TV gems. Not to mention your excellent weekend events at St Albans and Christchurch. Here's to your next decade (and to many more to come). Good luck! :)

There's a nice one still on display at Alfriston in East Sussex.
